Tortuga is a suite of lightweight tools built for AI-native builders — solo founders and small teams (2–6 people) shipping apps with tools like Claude Code and Cursor. We handle the stuff around the code: marketing, mockups, task management, landing pages, ASO, and more. Think of us as Shopify for AI builders — you handle the product, we handle everything else.

Our content — opinionated tool recommendations, build logs, workflow playbooks, and AI model comparisons — is free for everyone. No paywall. Yes. As the suite grows, we'll offer a bundle that gives you access to everything for one monthly price. The first 5,000 builders to subscribe will lock in our launch price. Sign up for the newsletter to be first to know when it's available.

Some tools — especially Ovii, which generates video — have real compute costs behind every use. Each plan includes a generous usage allowance that covers typical use. If you're a power user pushing well beyond normal volume, we'll work with you on a fair solution. We price honestly — we'd rather be transparent about costs than hide them behind "unlimited" labels that don't hold up.

Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel whenever you want and you'll retain access through the end of your current billing period.

Not yet. We're keeping things simple — monthly billing only. We may introduce annual plans with a discount down the road.

We're built for 2–6 person teams shipping apps with AI tools. That includes experienced developers who want out-of-the-box solutions for the non-code stuff, and newer builders using tools like Claude Code and Cursor who need help with marketing, design systems, ASO, and operations. If you're a 50-person company with dedicated specialists for each of these problems, we're probably not for you — and that's by design.

Many of our tools work regardless of platform — Quartermaster, Flagship, Ovii, and our content are all platform-agnostic. We started mobile-first because that's where we build, but the suite is expanding. Use what's useful to you.

We don't compete with Claude or Cursor — we complete the picture around them. Those tools help you write code. Tortuga handles everything else: the mockups for your App Store listing, the UGC video that gets you your first 1,000 users, the task management that lives where your code lives, the landing page Apple requires before you can submit. We assume you're already using great AI coding tools. We solve what they don't.

Patrick Lewis and Josh Grenon. We shipped 7 apps together in 2025. Josh has been building iOS apps since 2010 and was an early engineer at Perplexity. Patrick is a 3x founding designer with experience at BuzzFeed and Underdog. We're a 2-person team using AI tools every day — we're building for ourselves first, which is how we know what actually needs to exist.
